“We Are Ready To Partner With FG In Provision of Affordable Housing In Nigeria” – Emmanuel Auta.
President, Abegyi Housing Cooperative Society of Nigeria, said this that his organisation is ready to go in partnership with the goverment to provide affordable housing in Nigeria, during the press chat, at the event to mark “The International Day of Co-operative Development Commission” held on Saturday at Abuja.

“We are ready to partner with the federal government in provision of affordable housing in Nigeria, we have the capacity, that will remarkable, reduce housing deficits in Nigeria.”
Speaking further, he expressed his organisation willingness to go into partnership with CFAN in provision of massive housing delivery, he says, “We pledged the organisation’s commitment to partner with CFAN, to make sure available and affordable houses to people at the grass-roots.”
“we will draft a cooperative system where co-operators will use their dividend to pay for their houses and as many that are willing to key in should be able to have their own house.

Co-operatives around the world celebrate the day in various fashions and each year.
The aim is to bring sustainable development of the cooperative sector to see how government can use it as a tool to build and spread economic growth .
It’s existence is a great opportunity to engage the people and emancipate them from poverty by creating means of live hoods and employment in the country.

Speaking at the event,
The Managing Director, Smarter Grid International, Mrs Heather Onoh, expressed the company’s commitment to partner with CFAN to provision electricity to people at the base of the pyramid at an affordable rate.
She said that the company, while providing electricity to all, would also provide job opportunities for women and youths in the country.
“We are not only here to provide renewable solar energy rate solutions, we are here to create job opportunity especially for women. Instead of importing the full packaged equipments, we bring in all the parts down here, to be assembled here.” She said.
She went further to stressed further that instead of using the normal steel, the firm decides to use woods, which can be sourced here locally to enhance Nigeria economic growth. All our aim not only in provision of alternative light supply but renewable energy solar light. So our slogan, “No Nepa, No way ala,” is in line because we make sure, we have affordable packages for all the categories of users.” she said.
